Condition= Gravure tipped onto original thick Green paper as originally issued. Gravure has two creases on bottom left corner.

Context for this seen: “…the birds told him it was only a kite, and what a kite it is…for the reason he loved it was because it had belonged to a real boy…six of them took the end of the string in their beaks and flew away with it…

Arthur Rackham (1867-1939) Dubbed The Beloved Enchanter, Rackham was arguably the most successful artist in the Golden Age of story illustration. His name evokes images of gnomes, fairies, noble gnarled trees and beautiful princesses, a direct inspiration for the likes of Walt Disney many years later.
