Archival Limited Edition Giclee /150 after antique hand coloured aquatint etching by John Harris III (1811-1865).

John Harris III (1811-1865) An accomplished aquatint etcher/engraver born in London in 1811, who specialized in sporting and military subjects after his contemporaries. the son of John Harris II (an illustrator & watercolourist who was also a lithographer)

W. S. Fores, Publisher : W.S.Fores & Co was established in 1873, employed the aquatint technique extensively, and was where Harris spent most of his working life.
